Start My Website PreviewStartPilates · Reformer · Mat
A small, light-filled pilates studio on the first floor of an old Georgian house. Six reformers, one big window, and classes that never feel rushed.

Our approach
We keep classes small — six on the reformers, ten on the mat — so your teacher knows your name, your niggles and the shoulder you favour.
There are no mirrors and no loud music. Just good instruction, plenty of daylight and enough time between classes that nobody is ever hurried out the door.
Not sure where to start? Slow Flow or a 1:1 introduction are both lovely first classes.
01
All levels · 50 min
Spring-loaded resistance on the reformer for long, strong lines. Small groups of six, so every set-up gets a second look.
02
All levels · 45 min
The classical repertoire on the mat — breath, control and a deep, honest core. No equipment to work out, just you.
03
From 14 weeks · 45 min
Gentle, supportive work for each trimester, led by an instructor trained in pre- and postnatal pilates.
04
Beginners · 60 min
An unhurried class for stiff backs and busy heads. Longer holds, softer transitions, a little stillness at the end.
05
Intermediate · 50 min
Heavier springs and a steadier pace for when you know the basics and want to feel it the next day.
06
6+ weeks postpartum · 45 min
Reconnect with your core and pelvic floor. Babies under crawling age are welcome on the mat beside you.

Founder · Reformer & Mat
Former contemporary dancer. Fifteen years teaching, and still the first one in to open the shutters at 6:40.
Pre- & postnatal specialist
Trained physiotherapist who came to pilates after her own pregnancies. Calm, precise and very good with nervous beginners.
Reformer Strength
Ex-club hurler who found pilates through a back injury. Makes hard classes feel oddly enjoyable.
“I came for my back and stayed for the quiet. It’s the only hour of the week where nobody needs anything from me.”

Ballinmore (a fictional town)
Ring the brass bell marked Núa. There’s bike parking in the square and a pay-and-display around the corner.
